STEP #1: CLEANING CYLINDER HEAD Cleaning may be the single most important process in aluminum head repairing. After complete disassembling and stripping, we wash and pressureblast our aluminum heads in state-of-the-art washers and pressure blasters. Our comprehensive process assures all contaminating deposits are removed prior to welding.
STEP #2: WELDING THE CYLINDER HEAD Our state-of-the-art welding equipment repairs all cracks to original manufacturer's specifications. After welding, the aluminum head is pressure tested again to insure proper sealing of all welds.
STEP #3: PRESSURE TESTING In order to repair all cracks in the aluminum head, we thoroughly pressure test each and every aluminum head up to five times, or more! This comprehensive pressure testing insures all cracks are repaired properly. It is the only way we can offer the best warranty in the business!
STEP #4: LINE BORING The camshaft bearing bores must be rebored to assure precision bore size and alignment of camshaft bores to factory specifications or better. Only state-of-the-art equipment can continuously bore camshaft bores to our strenuous quality standards.
STEP #5: JET WASHING After precision boring, the aluminum head is vigorously cleaned of any damaging debris remaining from the welding and grinding process. Our strenuous quality checks assure this extremely important process is completed with the integrity necessary for the best warranty in the industry!
STEP #6: ASSEMBLY After careful and thorough inspection, the valves and valve guides are tested to avoid excessive oil burning. All valve springs maintain factory tolerances. We use only the highest quality valve stems to maintain complete operating integrity of the aluminum head. We also offer quality head gasket sets to assure complete adherence to quality standards.
STEP #7: VACUM TESTING CYLINDER HEAD The final stage of complete repairing is thorough vacuum testing. This process assures proper sealing of all valves and proper cylinder compression upon installation. After testing, the aluminum head is inspected again prior to careful packaging in plastic, maintaining the cleanliness of your cylinder head.
